This species isn't very afraid of people, but that makes them more fun. The males are quite territorial, so they will swoop to check-out anything which enters their turf, including you! A great spot is just west of the peak of Kennesaw Mountain where there is a single cannon on display. As you walk along the trail, three or four males will swoop down to check you out. If you stand still, one may even rest for a minute on your arm.
